First time here and was very surprised. We had been by but never really knew what this place was. It is an excellent pub with a lot of seating and some really nice decor and atmosphere. The staff are very nice and welcoming and I found it very cool how they utilized the old bank vault in the back as additional seating area with a different vibe. The drinks were good. There was a lot of drink and it had a lot of good flavor. They are unique and actually very good! The food was also good. Its not a Michelin star restaurant, but it works and is cooked well. The menu is pretty good for anyone looking for a quick snack or even a nice meal. I highly recommend checking this place out!

From entrance to exit this place was great. We were early so we had a drink at the bar. The staff were very attentive. I had the caccio de peppe and the hubs had fish and chips. The pasta was good and fish and chips were too much bread ding. Our friends ordered the pasta and the pork chop. Zero complaints. You must have the nice pear martini and porn star martini. Yummmmo.

Excellent restaurant on the Asbury Park "strip" aka Cookman Ave. I enjoyed my salmon with fingerling potatoes and leek. Lovely outdoor seating catching the afternoon sun. Friendly and efficient service. Beautiful interior. Great beer selection.

Just did my Birthday Tea Party and Justine and Steven did an excellent job as expected. My guests had a wonderful time. I love coming here. Always fabulous. Overall superb experience planning and having a Surprise 50th party for my friend on a Friday night. I spent two weeks trying to get a menu and contract with another shore restaurant until I decided to try the Black Swan. Justine, the General Manager, responded promptly on a Wednesday night to my website request with menus and availability for my date. She tailored the menu and price points to our desires and I had a signed contract with deposit paid in less than 24 hours after first contact. I was so relieved to have it settled so close to the holidays. The dinner was stellar. If I could give more stars I would. Every little tiny detail was taken care of right down to a false party name at the host stand to surprise my friend. Andreas, his service partner, bartenders, and bus staff were amazing. They were professional, on point, and fun. The food, family style Radiatori, Chx. Murphy, and Baked Salmon with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts where amazing and there was SO much of it. They even helped us order a special dish for the Birthday man (Prime Rib). We came in early to do Happy Hour and had Scotch Egg with spicy remoulade sauce (my first and it was perfect), Baked Brie, and Coconut Shrimp, all excellent. Everyone loved the atmosphere and had a wonderful time. I'm looking forward to holding a tea party birthday celebration for my self in 2026 and trying the other Barc Brands Restaurants so I can add more reviews. Palmetto is next on my list. Dine with Black Swan. You won't be disappointed.

We had our rehearsal dinner at The Black Swan, and it was absolutely perfect! From the planning process to the night of the event, everything was seamless. The staff was so accommodating, the space was beautiful, and the food was incredible. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate with our family and friends before the wedding. We would highly recommend The Black Swan for any special event or even just a great meal!

I recently had the pleasure of photographing at The Black Swan, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. They gave us the opportunity to shoot promotional content and really play with the venue. The space itself is beautiful—while the dark ceiling can be a challenge for photography, the ambiance perfectly captures the authentic England-inspired vibe. From the Manchester United football scarves to the thematic food, like the truly authentic toffee pudding, every detail makes the space feel immersive and special. From a photographer’s perspective, the venue offered so many creative opportunities. The space became jam-packed in the best way for networking, yet the layout allowed for many different setups: from a full step and repeat setup to a photo booth in a back vault room. While the lighting presented some challenges, the design of the space allowed us to frame shots that truly capture the mood and character of The Black Swan. One of the highlights of working there was Justine, the General Manager. She was absolutely next-level—if you had an idea, she made it happen. Her professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm made the day effortless and enjoyable. She’s an amazing addition to the team and truly elevates the entire experience at the venue. Overall, The Black Swan is a fantastic venue for photography, events, and immersive experiences. The attention to detail, thematic authenticity, and supportive team make it a standout location in every way. I can’t recommend it enough for photographers, creatives, and anyone looking for a unique, memorable space.

All around solid Asbury spot. I’d consider this place a sleeper—I feel like they always have open reservations, even same day on busy holiday weekends. It surprises me because this spot is solid and reliable. Prices are reasonable, wide variety of drinks, and surprisingly good food. First time I went I got the Sheppards Pie and my girlfriend for the Tikka Masala. Sheppards Pie was solid, but the Tikka Masala was definitely the pick (surprisingly). So last time I went I got the Tikka Masala again, very good (though the naan didn’t feel as fresh as when we went the first time around). Wide variety of cocktails as well, so great for an outing. Also they have many larger tables so you can certainly go with a large group which is convenient. Overall, highly recommend!
